I’m Nancy O’Reilly and I am a child of the Earth. For as long as I can remember, my heart has been with the Earth. My father built a small cabin in the northern New Mexico mountains, and I spent my time on weekends, holidays and summers hiking, fishing, and exploring the high altitude beauty.
Through this great classroom, I learned to listen to the sounds of the different birds, the rain falling in the pine forest, and the thunder that would often shake the building as it echoed down the canyon. I love the Earth. In 1984 moved to Los Angeles to study and work in the clothing industry. I eventually made my way to San Francisco to work, and it was there that I met my Irishman. We married and moved to Ireland in 1995. I have 3 beautiful children and 2 dogs.
In 2017 I founded Herbal Earth to provide natural solutions to common problems. These first products are still going strong, a Talc-free Powder and a Natural Deodorant. In 2018 I received a Diploma in Organic Skincare Formulation. Using this knowledge, I created a beautiful range of skincare for sensitive skin.
2020 led me to do some thinking. What is important to me? Where do I want to take my company, if at all? Herbal Earth is now a true reflection of who I am. I’ve reformulated and stripped back. Because honesty is essential to me, I sent the No.42 Antioxidant Facial Oil to be tested in a laboratory for efficacy. Science has shown that the formula does what I knew it would, but I wanted the customer to know that too. I endeavor to make skincare genuinely Eco-friendly. The skincare is refillable to reduce transportation costs and use less packaging. So that’s who I am, a child of the Earth, and the founder and formulator of Herbal Earth.
